Application performance

● TANINAUX WP has good stability and can be used in a wide range of weeks.

● TANINAUX WP has an even distribution effect on natural oils, which can often help tanning agents and fatliquors penetrate quickly and evenly distribute in the leather body, giving the leather a soft feel, a new grain and a bright color.

● The tensile strength of leather fibers can be significantly improved by using TANINAUX WP.

Suggested Usage

● When chrome tanning, 1-2% of TANINAUX WP is added directly to the pickled bath to pre-tannish.

● 2-4% TANINAUX WP is used for pre-softening when tanning wet white leather or vegetable tanning.

● Retanning of chrome tanned leather: 2-4% TANINAUX WP is used before neutralization to protect the grain and reduce the risk of gripping, to keep the inside flat or after neutralization with other retanning agents, and to increase the softness of the leather, 24% TANINAUX WP can also be added to the main grease.
