Application performance

● When retanning with TANINTAN BS, the leather can be soft, rounded and evenly filled. Because TANINTAN BS has a low astringency, it gives the leather a particularly smooth, fine grain. It can also be used as a pre-tanning agent and has a significant tanning effect, imparts a high shrinkage temperature to the leather, and is an ideal tanning agent for the production of gold-free quartenine leather. TANINTAN BS is particularly suitable for tanning wet white leather, high-grade cashmere with high shrinkage temperatures, etc.

● TANINTAN BS is used for the retanning and filling of leather that needs to be soft (such as sofa leather and shrinkage leather), which can make the leather plump and soft, and produce natural and delicate lines on the surface.

● TANINTAN BS has medium lightfastness, excellent heat-resistant yellowing, and certain bleaching, and can be used for white leather and light-colored leather retanning.

Suggested Usage

● Usually 2-8% TANINTAN BS is used with other retanning agents.

● As the main tanning agent for wet white leather, 20-25% of TANINTAN BS is added step by step and used in stages when producing metal ion-free furniture leather or soft leather.

Safe storage and transportation

● There may be a small amount of precipitation in the super-concentrate, which will not affect the use effect, store at room temperature, please close the barrel lid after use.
