Application performance

● Due to its special properties, TANINTAN BOV is a synthetic blender suitable for many types of leather, which can be used in all stages of vegetable mixing, chrome mixing and retanning, and can be used for pre-tanning of pickled skin due to its stability to salt, and can also be added to chrome tanning solution. The low organic acid content of TANINTAN BOV allows it to be used in vegetable tanning, which promotes the penetration of tannin gum, making the grain surface flat and the forehead color uniform. It can also act on the surface of the leather together with the oxidaldehyde to produce a uniform and full texture of the leather and be used for the production of natural wrestling leather.

● The leather treated with TANINTAN BOV is bright, plump and has a strong leather feel. At the same time, the product can also be used in combination with vegetable tanning agents or other synthetic tannins for the retanning of chrome tanned leather, giving the leather a light body and a tight and fine grain, so it will be very effective in nappa leather.

Suggested Usage

● In the later stage of plant tanning, it is used as a dispersant: bottom leather: 0.5-1%, light grass: 4-6%. For the tanning of light leather, the product is usually added together with a vegetable tanning agent, and the dosage is measured by the weight of the tant.

● How to use chrome tanned leather:

(1) When chromium is retanned: 3-5% TANINTAN BOV is added with chromium powder (it is best to add chromium powder for a certain period of time before adding), and the alkali is normally extracted after 2 hours of rotation. The whole leather body is uniform, plump and soft, suitable for the upper NAPPA and the complex of clothing and furniture leather.

(2) Together with the neutralizer, add 2-3% TANINTAN BOV to make the neutralization mild and uniform, and can produce a noticeable bubble feeling.

(3) It can also be used with other anionic materials in the main filling of 5-8% TANINTAN BOV-.

(4) Pre-tanning (sheep skin) of sour skin: 9-14% TANINTAN BOV, based on the weight of sour skin, used after degreasing.

Safe storage and transportation

● The super-concentrate may have a small amount of precipitation, which does not affect the use effect.
