Application performance

● TANINTAN RM is a specially modified acrylic resin tanning agent, which has superior filling, which can give the leather good softness, fullness, and texture, improve the uniformity and toughness of the leather, and the grain will not be rough. TANINTANRM has a wide range of pH values and can be used between pH 3.5 and 7.0: 1) at lower H values such as before retanning or at the end of fatting for better filling and firmness, and 2) for better softness, fullness and foaminess after neutralization.

● TANINTAN RM can significantly improve the abrasiveness of leather and is suitable for retanning all kinds of chrome tanned leather and semi-chrome tanned leather

● TANINTAN RM has certain bleaching properties, good yellowing resistance and light resistance, and is suitable for the production of white leather or light leather.

Suggested Usage

● Example 1: Before chrome retanning, use 2~4% TANINTAN RM for 40 minutes, add chrome powder, and adjust the PH normally overnight. The next day, the neutralization is carried out according to the normal process.

● Example 2: For the best fullness and elasticity, it is recommended to use it in a neutralizing bath, or add 24% after neutralization, and if you want to get a leather with good fullness and softness, add about 4% TANINTAN RM when adding oil, and it can improve the firmness of the grain.

● Example 3: When retanning straight leather, 4% TANINTAN RM and 6% TANINTAN BN- are used together, and the pile is tight and delicate.

● Increasing the humidity of the bath and the amount of formic acid can increase the absorption and fixation of TANINTAN RMI.

Safe storage and transportation

● We recommend storing at 5C35C to avoid freezing and overheating, stirring the sample evenly before use, and closing the barrel lid after use.
